MiCasa Monday: Our House in the Fall

This is one of our favorite times of the year and we love decorating the outside and inside of the house to reflect all the beautiful fall colors...all the luscious reds, oranges, yellows, browns, and golden undertones are so beautiful!

The past few years, my mom has had a tradition of decorating the outside of our living space (whether the house or our prior townhouse) with pumpkins, hay bales, cornstalks, gourds, Indian corn, ribbons, wreathes and other decor as part of my Birthday gift. This year, mom and dad came down last weekend (I already had a few minor items of decoration out since Labor Day weekend) to decorate the house and I just love it.

Yesterday, I was able to sneak outside with the few hours of beautiful weather in the afternoon to snap some photos of the house and the foyer. While I love the new Nikon D60 and the new lens with much better zoom options, I still don't know how to upload pix from it so I will leave you with the point and shoot Sony pictures as soon as I have the chance.
